How to add a warm-up or drop set in GMLYFT

Learn how to add warm-up sets and drop sets in GMLYFT to better track your workouts and training intensity.

Set defaults make it easier to plan warm-up, working, and drop sets before a workout begins. You can still choose a different set type while you are logging a session.

Set the defaults for an exercise

  1. Open Routines and choose a routine and training day.
  2. Tap the set-count control on an exercise.
  3. In Set Defaults, choose Warm-up, Working, or Drop for each set.
  4. Enter the planned weight, reps, and rest time.
  5. Return to the routine when you are finished.
Choose a set type and enter its planned values.

Use the set types in a workout

  1. Start the workout for the routine.
  2. Tap a pending set chip when you need to change its type.
  3. Choose Warm-up, Working, or Drop.
  4. For a drop set, add one line for each drop and check each line when it is finished.

Warm-up sets do not count toward your total working sets. Working sets are your main sets. Drop sets count toward your total like working sets, and they are not available inside supersets or circuits.
