Exercise guide
Jogging, Treadmill
Treadmill jogging provides a controlled surface where speed and incline can be adjusted during a cardio session. The quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings contribute to each stride, while the calves and trunk also support the running pattern.
Training context
Before Adding Treadmill Jogging
Begin with a walking warm-up before increasing the belt to a jogging pace. Learn the location of the stop button and safety clip before starting.
Calorie displays are estimates and should not be treated as exact measurements. Effort depends on pace, incline, body size, fitness, and running mechanics.
Technique overview
Match the belt speed to a natural stride
Stand near the center of the belt and build speed gradually. Jog with an upright posture, relaxed shoulders, and a stride that lands beneath the body. Avoid holding the rails during normal running because it changes the movement and effort. Slow to a walk before dismounting.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
