Exercise guide
V-Squat Machine
The V-Squat Machine supports the shoulders and guides the body through an angled squat path. The quadriceps provide the primary effort, while the glutes, hamstrings, and calves assist through the descent and return.
Training context
Keeping the V-Squat Machine Controlled
Foot position on the platform affects balance, knee travel, and depth. Begin with a comfortable stance that keeps the heels planted and allows the knees to track with the toes.
Record the machine, foot placement, safety-stop setting, and load when comparing sessions. Do not descend beyond the range where the pelvis and torso remain supported.
Technique overview
Keep the feet planted through the full repetition
Position the shoulders securely beneath the pads and unrack the sled only after the feet are set. Bend the hips and knees together while maintaining pressure through the full foot. Descend to a controlled depth, then press through the platform to stand. Re-engage the safety catches carefully at the end of the set.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
