Leg-Over Floor Press
The Leg-Over Floor Press is a one-arm kettlebell press performed with the working-side leg crossed over the opposite leg. The chest, triceps, and shoulder press the kettlebell while the unusual lower-body position changes the torso's support.
Training context
Setup Cues for the Leg-Over Floor Press
Crossing the leg may create some rotation through the pelvis and trunk. The athlete should establish the position without forcing the hip or allowing the loaded shoulder to lift from the floor.
A standard one-arm floor press with both feet planted is a more stable alternative when this setup feels awkward.
Technique overview
Keep the kettlebell stacked over the forearm
Lie on the floor with the kettlebell held securely and the free arm extended for balance. Set the legs as described without forcing the crossed position. Press until the arm is stable above the shoulder, then lower until the upper arm contacts the floor gently. Keep the wrist over the elbow throughout.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
