Leverage Incline Chest Press
The Leverage Incline Chest Press uses an upward machine path that trains the chest with assistance from the shoulders and triceps. The fixed support reduces the balance demand of free-weight incline pressing.
Training context
Why the Leverage Incline Press Can Be Useful
The machine allows the athlete to focus on pressing effort without stabilizing independent dumbbells or unracking a barbell. Seat height determines whether the handles align properly with the upper chest.
An excessively low seat may place the handles too high and make the shoulders uncomfortable. Adjust the machine before loading heavily.
Technique overview
Press along the machine's upward path
Sit with the head and back supported and the handles near the upper chest. Press forward and upward until the arms are extended without shrugging. Lower under control until a comfortable stretch is reached, keeping both machine arms moving evenly.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
