T-Bar Row with Handle

The T-Bar Row with Handle uses a landmine bar and close neutral-grip handle to train the middle back. The lats and biceps assist as the weight is pulled toward the upper abdomen.

Training context

Why the T-Bar Row with Handle Can Be Useful

The landmine fixes one end of the bar while the handle allows both hands to pull from a centered position. This provides a stable loading path while still requiring the hips and torso to maintain a strong hinge.

Use a secure landmine attachment or protected corner and confirm that the handle cannot slide into the plates. Record the plate load and handle type when comparing sessions.

Technique overview

Hold the hinge while the elbows move

Stand over the bar with a stable stance and hinge until the arms are extended. Pull the handle toward the upper abdomen by driving the elbows back and retracting the shoulder blades. Keep the torso angle nearly unchanged and avoid jerking the bar from the bottom. Lower the weight until the arms extend without allowing the shoulders or back to collapse.

Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
