Two-Arm Kettlebell Row
The Two-Arm Kettlebell Row uses two independent weights while the torso remains in a bent-over position. The middle back provides the primary pulling emphasis, with the lats and biceps assisting as the kettlebells move toward the abdomen.
Training context
Before Adding the Two-Arm Kettlebell Row
Both kettlebells should be positioned where they can be lifted and returned without pulling the torso out of balance. A stable hinge and manageable load are necessary before adding repetitions.
Because each arm controls its own kettlebell, differences in range or timing are easy to notice. Reduce the load if one side begins rotating or reaching farther than the other.
Technique overview
Hold the hinge while both elbows pull back
Hinge at the hips with the knees softly bent and take a secure grip on both kettlebells. Pull the weights toward the abdomen by driving the elbows back and retracting the shoulder blades. Keep the torso angle and hip position steady. Lower the kettlebells under control until the arms extend, then reset before repeating if the stance or hinge has changed.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
