Exercise guide
Seated Leg Tucks
Seated Leg Tucks bring the knees and torso toward one another from a supported bench position. The abdominals stabilize and flex the trunk while the hip flexors help draw the thighs inward.
Training context
Why Seated Leg Tucks Can Be Useful
The exercise provides direct abdominal work without additional weight and can be adjusted by changing how far the legs extend. A shorter extension makes the movement easier to control.
The hands should provide balance rather than pulling the torso through each repetition. End the set when the legs drop or the return becomes uncontrolled.
Technique overview
Bring the knees and chest together smoothly
Sit near the edge of a stable bench and lean back into a controlled position. Draw the knees inward as the torso moves slightly forward. Pause, then extend the legs and lean back without swinging or allowing the feet to drop suddenly.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
