Seated Two-Arm Palms-Up Low-Pulley Wrist Curl

The Seated Two-Arm Palms-Up Low-Pulley Wrist Curl trains the forearm flexors with continuous cable resistance. A straight or EZ attachment keeps both hands connected throughout the set.

Training context

Why Use the Low-Pulley Version?

Cable tension can remain present through more of the wrist-curl range than with free weights. Bench distance and pulley height must remain consistent when comparing loads between sessions.

Place the bench securely so it cannot slide toward the machine. The cable should clear the knees and bench without rubbing.

Technique overview

Keep the cable moving through the wrists

Sit with the forearms supported on the thighs and palms facing up. Lower the attachment by extending the wrists, then curl it upward without lifting the forearms. Pause briefly and return slowly while keeping tension on the cable.

Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
