Exercise guide
Wrist Circles
Wrist Circles are a simple mobility drill that rotates the hands through small controlled circles. The forearms are the primary area involved as the muscles guide and stabilize the wrists.
Training context
Using Wrist Circles for Mobility
The arms may be held in front of the body or relaxed at the sides if a shoulder-height position creates unnecessary fatigue. The movement should remain at the wrists rather than becoming a large arm circle.
Use both directions and keep the range comfortable. Smaller circles are appropriate when the wrists feel stiff.
Technique overview
Keep the circles small and smooth
Extend the arms in a comfortable position and relax the fingers. Rotate both wrists through slow circles without moving the elbows or shoulders unnecessarily. Complete the planned repetitions in one direction, then reverse. Stop if the motion causes sharp discomfort, tingling, or loss of control.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
