Exercise guide
Front Two-Dumbbell Raise
The Front Two-Dumbbell Raise lifts both arms together in front of the torso. The shoulders raise the weights while the trunk maintains a steady standing position. Moving both dumbbells at once creates a stricter bilateral variation than alternating front raises.
Training context
Setup Cues for the Two-Dumbbell Front Raise
Begin with the dumbbells in front of the thighs and a small bend at the elbows. The hands may face down, inward, or use a slightly angled position based on shoulder comfort.
The weights should be light enough that both arms rise evenly. If one side leads or the torso rocks, reduce the load.
Technique overview
Raise both arms without using momentum
Stand tall and lift both dumbbells forward to approximately shoulder height. Maintain the same elbow angle and avoid leaning backward to finish the range. Pause briefly, then lower the weights slowly to the thighs. Stop before the shoulders begin shrugging.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
