Exercise guide
Kettlebell Seesaw Press
The Kettlebell Seesaw Press alternates one overhead press while the opposite kettlebell remains at the shoulder. The shoulders and triceps perform the pressing while the trunk stabilizes against uneven loading.
Training context
Keeping the Seesaw Press Controlled
Both kettlebells begin in the rack, but only one moves overhead at a time. The nonworking side should remain organized rather than dropping or drifting away from the body.
Alternate through a steady rhythm and complete equal work on both sides. Avoid turning the movement into a push press unless leg drive is intentionally part of the variation.
Technique overview
Keep one bell racked while the other presses
Clean both kettlebells into a secure rack. Press one bell overhead while the opposite bell stays close to the shoulder. Lower it under control and begin the press on the other side. Keep the torso centered and avoid leaning away from either kettlebell.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
