Exercise guide

Landmine Linear Jammer

The Landmine Linear Jammer is an explosive full-body press. A short squat or dip loads the legs before the hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, and triceps extend together to drive the bar upward and forward.

Training context

Who May Find the Linear Jammer Useful?

The movement may suit athletes training total-body power through a guided pressing angle. It resembles a landmine thruster more than a strict shoulder press.

Use a rated landmine attachment and handle. The bar should not be wedged into a corner where it can damage the wall, slide, or escape under force.

Technique overview

Transfer the leg drive into the press

Hold the handle near the shoulders and take an athletic stance. Dip through the hips and knees, then extend the lower body forcefully as the arms press the bar upward and forward. Reach a controlled finish without leaning excessively. Absorb the return through the arms and legs before repeating.

Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
