Exercise guide
Landmine Press
The Landmine Press moves one end of a barbell upward and forward through the arc created by a landmine attachment. The shoulders provide the main effort while the triceps and chest assist. The angled path can feel more comfortable than a completely vertical press for some lifters.
Training context
Why the Landmine Press Can Be Useful
The bar path allows the shoulder blade to move naturally around the rib cage while the athlete presses. The exercise can be performed with one hand, two hands, standing, kneeling, or half-kneeling depending on the selected version.
This record's instructions describe a standing press from a staggered stance. Keep that setup consistent rather than mixing multiple versions within the same entry.
Technique overview
Press upward and forward along the bar path
Hold the end of the bar at shoulder height with the wrist neutral. Brace in a stable staggered stance and press along the landmine arc. Reach full extension without leaning the torso backward, then lower slowly to the shoulder. Keep the attachment secured throughout.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
