Seated Head Harness Neck Resistance
Seated Head Harness Neck Resistance uses a weighted harness to train the muscles that control neck flexion and extension. The movement has a small range and requires much lighter loading than most strength exercises.
Training context
Before Adding Neck Harness Training
The harness must fit securely and distribute pressure around the head without contacting the throat. Begin with minimal resistance and seek qualified guidance when neck training is unfamiliar.
Do not pull the head into an extreme chin-to-chest or backward position. Stop for pain, headache, dizziness, numbness, tingling, visual changes, or symptoms extending into the arms.
Technique overview
Move through a small, deliberate neck range
Sit firmly with the torso and feet stable and the harness centered. Lower the head only through a comfortable flexion range, then return toward neutral using slow muscular control. Avoid jerking, holding the breath, or extending the head beyond a natural upright position.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
