Exercise guide
Side Wrist Pull
The Side Wrist Pull guides one arm across the torso and upward using the opposite hand. The shoulders, lats, and forearms may feel the position depending on the chosen angle.
Training context
Before Adding the Side Wrist Pull
The opposite hand should guide the wrist gently rather than twisting or pulling it sharply. The working shoulder should remain down and comfortable.
The movement may be felt around the upper back or side of the torso. Stop if it creates shoulder-joint pinching or nerve-like symptoms.
Technique overview
Straighten and lift the arm gradually
Hold one wrist near the opposite hip with the working elbow bent. Slowly straighten the arm and guide it upward toward shoulder height. Keep the torso still, hold a mild stretch, and release gradually before changing sides.
Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
