Exercise guide

Single-Arm Linear Jammer

The Single-Arm Linear Jammer is an explosive landmine press that uses leg and hip drive. The shoulders, chest, and triceps transfer the lower-body force into the angled bar path.

Training context

Before Adding the Linear Jammer

The bar must be secured in a proper landmine attachment or another anchor designed to prevent slipping. This is a power exercise and should be practiced with light loads before adding speed.

The athlete should first control a regular one-arm landmine press. The lower-body drive should assist the press rather than replace a stable shoulder position.

Technique overview

Drive through the legs and finish through the arm

Hold the bar near one shoulder with a wide, balanced stance. Dip slightly through the hips and knees, then extend the lower body as the working arm presses the bar forward and upward. Control the bar back to the shoulder before resetting.

Treat this as an overview and use a range, pace, and setup you can control.
